Pitt State Ranked No. 4 in Preseason AFCA Top 25 Poll

WACO, Texas — The Pittsburg State University football team drew the No. 4 ranking in the 2026 NCAA Division II Preseason Top 25 poll released by the American Football Coaches Association today (Aug. 18). Pitt State posted a 10-3 record in 2025 and qualified for the NCAA Division II national playoffs for a fourth consecutive season. The Gorillas also claimed their third MIAA crown in four seasons (2022, 2023, 2025) a year ago.
