Panthers To Sign LB Tyrel Dodson To Practice Squad

According to Mike Kaye, the Panthers are signing veteran LB Tyrel Dodson to their practice squad. He was let go during roster cuts by the Dolphins yesterday. Miami drafted second-round LB Jacob Rodriguez, and he was proving hard to keep off the field next to stalwart LB Jordyn Brooks, which is why the Dolphins moved on from Dodson. He was in the final year of a two-year, $8.25 million deal he signed with Miami last year. Dodson, 27, wound up going undrafted out of Texas A&M back in 2019.
