Torres Voted MEC Special Teams Player of the Week

FAIRMONT, W.Va. – Freshman kicker Christian Torres of the Concord University football team has been named the Mountain East Conference Special Teams Player of the Week, the league office announced Monday afternoon. Making his collegiate debut in Concord's 41-35 season-opening victory over the Division I Davidson Wildcats, Torres was instrumental for the Mountain Lions. Torres made both of his field goal attempts, from 26 and 23 yards respectively, in what were two crucial second-half field goals.
