Spartans battle Knights and heat in season opener

The Spartans men’s soccer team fell to the Knights of Calvin University at home to open up their season. AU fought back to tie the match multiple times but ultimately couldn’t not contain the Knights offense, falling 4-2. The teams battled each other and the hot and humid conditions mother nature threw their way.
