Defensive Discipline Leads to Scoreless Draw Between Mount Men’s Soccer, Navy

EMMITSBURG, MD (September 8, 2026) – Another strong defensive performance for Mount St. Mary's men's soccer gave the team its third draw in as many home games, earning a 0-0 final against Navy. Goalie Lars Almankaars made his first career start and earned the clean sheet with three saves. The back line of starters Oliver Jorgensen , Noah Kaiser , Jayson Salvador , and Thomas Dix , along with substitute Anthony Fanelli , limited the Navy Midshipmen to eight shots.
