Main Story

Oklahoma State center Audi Crooks is one of 20 players on the Lisa Leslie Award Watch List, which recognizes the top center in women’s college basketball. A three-time AP All-American, Crooks was a top-five finalist in each of the past two seasons at Iowa State.

By the Numbers
  • 25.0 points per game and at least 64.7% shooting last season—an unusual combination matched by only one other Division I, NBA or WNBA player this century.
  • 98 consecutive games scoring in double figures, the nation’s longest active streak.
  • Reached 1,000 career points in 49 games, the third-fastest mark by a Big 12 player.
What's Next

The watch list will narrow to 10 players in February and five in March, with the winner selected in late March. Fan voting begins Oct. 31. Crooks and the Cowgirls open their season against Southern on Nov. 2 in Stillwater.

Bottom Line

Crooks enters the season among the nation’s most accomplished centers, with another chance to turn her watch-list recognition into a finalist spot—and potentially the award.
