Softball Outscores Mount St. Mary’s, Manhattan By Combined Margin Of 20-2
ELON, N.C. - The University of Dayton softball team claimed back-to-back 10-1 wins on the first day of the Elon Phoenix Invitational. Dayton downed Mount St. Mary's in five innings followed by a seven-inning win over Manhattan. The Flyers tallied the 20 runs on the strength of 20 hits, including six for extra bases, and record 19 RBI. Dayton improves to 5-1 on the season while Mount St. Mary's is now 1-2 and Manhattan moves to 1-5 overall.
