Ava Edmonds poured on a career-high 27 points but the Pacific Lutheran University women’s basketball squad was unable to hang on to a late lead in the third, falling 74-63 to Northwest Conference rival Linfield University on Friday night inside the Ted Wilson Gymnasium.

Four programs are in action this weekend with men’s and women’s swimming returning to the pool for its first competition in over a month while men’s and women’s basketball head to Oregon to resume Northwest Conference play.

TACOMA, Wash. – The Pacific Lutheran University men’s basketball team welcomed Gustavus Adolphus to Olson Gymnasium on Friday afternoon. The competitive contest that featured 11 ties and 10 lead changes was ended by Jackson Reisner, who knocked down a corner three as time expired to give the Lutes a thrilling 64-61 victory over the Gusties.
