This is the first time since 2016 the Aztecs have had four players honored and the first time since 2012 that three Aztecs were named to the first or second team.
Three Aztecs Named to Academic All-District Team
Three members of the Aztec men’s soccer team were named to the College Sports Communications Academic All-District Team. Rommee Jaridly, Henry Smith-Hastie and Iñigo Villaldea were honored for their work in the classroom.
Aztecs Fall on Senior Night, 2-1
San Diego State men’s soccer fell to UCLA on senior night 2-1 on the SDSU SportsDeck. The Aztecs had 20 shots on the night but were only able to find the back of the net once.
Aztecs Host UCLA for Senior Night Friday
Prior to Friday’s match, the Aztecs will honor five seniors: Blake Bowen, Jacob Castro, Arturo Chavez, Kyle Colonna and Esteban Zepeda.
