Thiel falls to Geneva in PAC opener

BEAVER FALLS, Pa. – The Thiel College men’s basketball team lost its Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) opener to the Geneva Golden Tornadoes, 82-62, Wednesday night on the road at Metheny Fieldhouse. Geneva led 45-33 at halftime, before outscoring Thiel 37-19 in the second half. The Tomcats would cut the deficit to six points, but the Golden Tornadoes were able to respond. Thiel was led by Rayshod Hooper (Baltimore, Md./St. Frances Academy) who recorded his second double-double of the season with 16 points and 11 rebounds.
