In 2015, the Razorbacks hosted the Rockets in Little Rock. Arkansas was ranked No. 18 and were 21-point favorites at home but Toledo quarterback Phillip Ely led the Rockets to a 16-12 victory. The Razorbacks paid Toledo $1 million and would finish the 2015 season 7-5.
NIU vs. Georgia Tech – $1 million (2021)
Georgia Tech paid NIU $1 million to come down to Atlanta and beat the Yellow Jackets in their home opener. Huskies quarterback Rocky Lombardi went 11-16 with 136 yards and two touchdowns while Harrison Waylee added another touchdown and rushed for 144 yards. GT tried to make a fourth quarter comeback but lost 22-21 in a game in which it was 19-point favorites.
