4. Dominik Hasek (2001-04, 2006-08)
The Dominator arrived from Buffalo in July 2001 and lived up to his lofty reputation. Hasek netted 41 wins during the 2001-02 regular season. In the playoffs, he raised his game to a different level. The Czech master recorded six shutouts and a 1.86 goals-against average. The Red Wings went on to claim that year’s Stanley Cup.
