Top 10 Thanksgiving Day performances in NFL history
8. Tony Romo, Dallas Cowboys (Nov. 23, 2006)
Before he became the Dallas Cowboys’ all-time leading passer, Tony Romo was an unheralded undrafted free agent making his fifth NFL start on Thanksgiving Day in 2006. This would be a coming out party of sorts for Romo as he made franchise history by tying the record for most passing touchdowns in a single game with five. Romo finished his day going 22-of-29 for 306 yards along with the five scores.
