Top 5 Thanksgiving Day games in NFL history
2. 1998: Detroit Lions 19, Pittsburgh Steelers 16 (OT)
Another game immortalized for a singular, dramatic moment, this Thanksgiving Day matchup featured the coin toss heard around the world. Steelers running back Jerome Bettis claimed he called the overtime coin toss as “tails” while referee Phil Luckett insisted he heard “heads-tails.” NFL rules dictate that a team’s first call must be used so the Lions were awarded the ball and quickly won on a 42-yard field goal by Jason Hanson on the first possession in overtime. Now, the NFL requires that the team captain call heads or tails before the coin toss, not during it.

Did Bettis say Tails, or Heads, or Hails?! I believe he did say Tails. What do you think?
