Top 10 Indiana Hoosiers basketball players of all time
2. Calbert Cheaney (1989-1993)
Cheaney could arguably claim the top spot based on his impressive accomplishments throughout his four years with the program. The school record-leader in career points locked down both the Wooden and Naismith awards as a senior, and although he was never able to reach a national championship game, Cheaney still dropped 22 points and nine rebounds in his lone Final Four appearance. During his run at Indiana, the Hoosiers won 105 games and appeared in the tournament in all four of his seasons. With his name scattered throughout the Hoosiers’ record books, Cheaney can still look back at one of the top careers in program history.
