The 10 longest regular season win streaks in NBA history
19 games – San Antonio Spurs, 2013-14
Another long streak during a season that ended in a championship, the San Antonio Spurs had a 19-game win streak that spanned from late February to early April 2014. The team began its streak 120-110 win over the Detroit Pistons on Feb. 26 and reeled off 18 more wins before their run was finally put to an end by the Oklahoma City Thunder in a 106-94 loss on April 3.
Despite losing three of its last five regular-season games to finish with a 62-20 record, the No. 1 seeded Spurs didn’t let that impact them in the playoffs. San Antonio defeated the in-state rival Dallas Mavericks 4-3 in the first round, the Portland Trail Blazers 4-1 in the Western Conference semifinals, the Thunder 4-2 in the Western Conference finals and finally the Miami Heat 4-1 in the NBA Finals to secure another title for the trio of Tim Duncan, Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili.
