3. Peter Forsberg, C (1994-2004, 2007-08)

Forsberg was a seven-time All-Star with the Avalanche. During his time in Colorado, he helped the team win the Stanley Cup twice. Forsberg was even with the team when it was still in Quebec. Unfortunately, injuries cut his career short but that didn’t stop him from becoming eighth in career goals (217), third in assists (538) and fifth in points (755). During the 2002-03 season, he won the Hart Trophy, becoming only the second Avalanche player to win the award.
