Hunter was the top–ranked cornerback and wide receiver for the Class of 2022 after enjoying a star-studded prep career that came with nearly 4,000 receiving yards on the offensive side of the ball and 19 total interceptions as a defender. He would go on to break the Georgia state record in career receiving touchdowns his final season before flipping his commitment from Florida State to play for Deion Sanders at Jackson State.
