10. Jeff Skinner, F (2010-18)

The Hurricanes drafted Skinner with the No. 7 overall pick in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft. He was named to the All-Rookie team in his first year and took home the Calder Memorial Trophy, an award given to the player with the most proficient performance in his first year of competition in the NHL. 

Skinner was traded to the Buffalo Sabers in 2018 after recording 379 points (204 goals and 179 assists) in Carolina.
