4. Michael O’Brien, OF, John Curtis Christian 

O’Brien is a two-sport athlete for John Curtis, and he helped the football team win the state title this year. As a junior, he earned all-state and all-metro honors for his performance on the diamond. He recorded a batting average of .400 and had 37 RBIs. He also took the mound last season, accumulating 39 strikeouts and winning six games. O’Brien is set on going back to the playoffs before heading to Starkville with Walsh.
