Top 10 Texas high school baseball players in Class of 2023
AUSTIN, Texas (BVM) – Texas high school baseball is underway and with two teams from the Lone Star State in the Preseason MaxPreps Top 25, there will be plenty of talent on display this spring. Sinton is the highest-ranked team in the state (No. 13 nationally) after going 36-1 and knocking off the two-time MaxPreps national champion Argyle last season.
There was one Texas high schooler selected in the first round of the 2022 MLB Draft – Jett Williams (Rockwall-Heath HS, New York Mets) – and that number could increase during July’s draft. With talented pitchers, special hitters and unique position players littered across the state, Texas is home to some of the best high school baseball players in the country.
While many more are deserving of recognition, here are Texas’ top 10 baseball players in the Class of 2023.
