Titans shopping Derrick Henry; top 5 landing spots for star RB
4. Kansas City Chiefs
The Chiefs are defending Super Bowl champions, have a nice young running back in Isiah Pacheco, and don’t have a great salary-cap situation. Based on that, adding Henry to the mix may seem unlikely. Yet, the opportunity to add one of the league’s best running backs may be too good to pass up for Andy Reid. While Pacheco did come on at the end of the year, the Chiefs have been searching for a dominant running back to take some pressure off of Patrick Mahomes for the majority of his time as a starting quarterback.
Henry would not only be that, but would simply provide another game-breaking weapon alongside Travis Kelce. While both Kelce and Henry are beginning to age, they are still two of the top playmakers the league has to offer. A two-headed monster in the backfield behind Henry and an emerging Pacheco could make this offense even more lethal, and could help the Chiefs win more championships in this budding dynasty.
