Top 10 highest-rated HS boys basketball players since 2010

T-No. 4 – Josh Jackson

Josh Jackson’s 247 Sports profile shows that he has a player rating of 0.9999. The 6-foot-8 shooting guard graduated in the Class of 2016 from Justin-Siena High School (California) and ties as the fourth highest-rated boys basketball player since 2010.

Early on, Jackson showed that he was a top-notch scorer. He joined the varsity team as an 8th grader and averaged 17 points. From there, he averaged 17 points again as a freshman, 28 points and 15 rebounds as a sophomore and 31.2 points and 5.4 assists as a junior. As a senior, Jackson showed he was as agile as a 6-foot-8 athlete could get as he averaged 26.9 points and 13.1 rebounds.

Jackson chose Kansas over the likes of Michigan State and Arizona. For his only season with the Wildcats, he cemented his name as one of the most decorated freshmen in the history of the program. But today, the No. 4 overall pick from the 2017 NBA Draft is considered an NBA bust. After all, he was out of the NBA at 25 years old and was last waived by the Stockton Kings of the NBA G League in January of 2023.
