Top 10 Washington D.C. HS baseball players in Class of 2023
9. Andy Francis, P, St. John’s
Another important contributor for the Cadets, Francis played a little bit of everything including pitcher, second base, third base and designated hitter. The 5-foot-11, 175-pound right-hander is expected to be a pitcher at the next level and is ranked as the No. 136 overall prospect in Virginia-DC by PBR and the No. 70 player in Virginia by Perfect Game.
Given his versatility, Francis played a key role for St. John’s as they made their way to the WCAC championship game. Currently, Francis is uncommitted though as a top recruit in the District, he should be expected to land somewhere in the near future.
