8. Aaron Hill, INF (2001-03)
As a junior, Hill won 2003 SEC Player of the Year. That spring, he topped the Tigers with a .358 BA. Plus he added 67 RBIs. The 6-footer even secured All-American honors. Hill was The Toronto Blue Jays’ first-round pick in 2003.
Among his accolades are: the 2009 AL Comeback Player of the Year and 2012 NL Wilson Defensive Player of the Year. Hill is a two-time Silver Slugger winner (2009, 2012). His big league career lasted from 2005 through 2017, that’s over 1,500 games.
