Teams with the most NCAA Tournament wins of all time

9. Indiana Hoosiers (67 wins) 

Indiana’s 67-35 record in the NCAA Tournament makes the Hoosiers one of the winningest programs in tournament history. With 40 appearances, they’ve averaged 1.7 wins per appearance. The Hoosiers have made it to eight Final Fours and won five championships (1940, 1953, 1976, 1981, 1987). While Michigan failed to make the NCAA tournament in 2023, the program doesn’t trail too far behind at 66 wins. In other words, next year may put the Hoosiers’ spot in the top 10 in jeopardy with the two teams being neck-and-neck. This year, the Hoosiers managed to break away from the Wolverines by one win when they made it to the second round of the 2023 tournament.
