Top 10 Indiana high school baseball players in Class of 2023
10. Kyuss Gargett, SS, Cathedral
There are a lot of talented players in Indiana’s senior class that certainly could be put in one of these last couple of spots, but Gargett is a very intriguing prospect who will be interesting to watch this season. He came on the radar last year after a tremendous junior season at Cathedral that saw him hit .382 with four home runs, 18 RBIs, 34 runs and 18 stolen bases. He also flashed the leather with a .917 fielding percentage on the year. During part of a strong summer season with the Indiana Bulls, the 6-foot-1, 185-pound senior committed to play with the Kentucky Wildcats. The switch-hitting Gargett continues to show the makings of a budding star, and will look to finish his high school career strong at Cathedral this spring.
