Ranking the top 10 Chicago White Sox players of all time
9. Paul Konerko, 1B, 1999-2014
Konerko is undoubtedly one of the most beloved modern-day White Sox players and his 432 home runs are second in franchise history. Affectionately nicknamed “Paulie” by White Sox fans, Konerko’s best season in Chicago came during the franchise’s first World Series win in nearly 90 years. He batted .283 with 40 home runs and 100 RBIs during Chicago’s 2005 World Series season. Konerko made six All-Star appearances and won the 2005 ALCS MVP with the White Sox. His No. 14 jersey was retired by the franchise in 2015.
