9. Scott Niedermayer, D (1996-2010)
A quick and crafty defenseman who brought championship-level experience to the international arena. Niedermayer was a two-time NHL All-Star with two Stanley Cups by 2002. The 6-foot-1, 195-pounder played a key role on Canada’s championship blue line. Niedermayer was a member of Team Canada for two Olympic Games, and they snatched the gold in both. He was team captain in 2010.
