4. 2021: No. 6 Oklahoma 55, No. 21 Texas 48
Oklahoma and Texas have played a lot of classics over the last decade, but following the teams’ four-overtime battle in 2020, a similarly crazy game occurred in 2021. Early in the game, the Longhorns’ offense dominated, putting up 28 points to lead by 21 at the end of the first quarter. They would maintain an 18-point lead at halftime, but in the second half, an emerging quarterback by the name of Caleb Williams made his presence known, rallying the Sooners to take a 48-41 lead with just over seven minutes left. Texas would tie the game on a Xavier Worthy touchdown with just over a minute left, but the Sooners had one more score in them as Kennedy Brooks – who had 217 rushing yards in the game – ran in a last-second 33-yard touchdown to give Oklahoma an incredible come-from-behind win while preserving its undefeated season.
