‘Tight End U’: The 10 best Iowa Hawkeyes TEs in NFL history
10. C.J. Fiedorowicz (2014-17)
Even though LaPorta is currently on a historic pace as a rookie, it’s just too small a sample size to put him on this list right now, but that could easily change in the future. Instead, Fiedorowicz is the first player here.
The 6-foot-7, 265-pound tight end was a solid contributor for the Hawkeyes playing in 51 games and recording 91 catches for 899 yards and 10 touchdowns. He was drafted by the Houston Texans in the third round of the 2014 NFL Draft and went on to record 89 catches for 881 yards and six touchdowns in 51 games and 42 starts over four years in Houston before he retired from football due to sustaining many concussions over his playing career.
