7. Kalysta Martin, G, Providence Catholic
Martin was the clear top player for the Provets, leading the team in points, rebounds, assists, steals and blocks, averaging 24.7 points, 14.6 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 2.2 steals and 4.2 blocks. Her contributions helped the Provets to a 14-16 record and earned Martin TAPPS Class 5A first-team all-state honors.
The 6-foot-1 guard has piqued the interest of scouts across the country, earning herself as high as the No. 7 ranking in the state and No. 63 ranking nationally from ESPN. Martin earned offers from BYU, Purdue, TCU, Utah and Wisconsin among others but chose to commit to in-state Texas Tech on June 10.
