Top 10 Illinois boys basketball players in Class of 2024
8. Jeshawn Stevenson Jr., G, Lindblom
Stevenson Jr. may be overlooked a bit when it comes to Illinois’ senior class, but the 6-foot-3 guard is one of the elite scorers in the state. Last season, Stevenson Jr. put up some truly impressive numbers at Lindblom, averaging 27.2 points, 7.5 rebounds and 2.3 assists. The talented guard plays big for his size and also showed out on the defensive end throughout the year, averaging 1.6 steals and two blocks. Stevenson Jr. can score from any spot on the floor and could have the potential to become close to a 30-point-per-game player in what should be another terrific senior season for the Eagles. Then, he will head off to play at Cleveland State after committing to the Vikings in early October.
‘24 Je’Shawn Stevenson proving this morning that he can score from any spot on the floor. Able to beat his man off the dribble here and get an off-balance shot to drop inside. @duece_3jjr | @basketball_lmsa pic.twitter.com/fOLeTsPVzL
