Top 10 Pennsylvania boys basketball players in Class of 2024
9. Amir Williams, F, Neumann Goretti
Although Williams hasn’t yet put up some of the gaudy numbers others have on this list, there is no denying how talented he is on both ends of the floor. As a sophomore in 2021-22, Williams scored 2.5 points per contest for a Neumann Goretti team that won a state championship. Last year, the Saints got back to the state championship game in part thanks to their 6-foot-6 standout taking a big step forward, as Williams averaged 9.6 points and 4.4 rebounds while making 53 3-point shots, and shooting nearly 44% from the field. He also was tremendous on the defensive end throughout the season and averaged 1.7 steals. Williams’ numbers should jump again as a senior as the Saints look for another state title. After that, he will play college basketball at Hofstra after committing to the Pride in September.
2024 6’5 Amir Williams of Neuamnn Goretti is a long athletic wing who can shoot it lights out and guard multiple positions. Definitely a player that can help a division one program win some games! pic.twitter.com/2yHvn4LMBm
