2. Toronto Blue Jays

Hernandez spent six years in Toronto before the Blue Jays dealt him to Seattle last offseason in exchange for pitchers Erik Swanson and Adam Macko. Despite the split, it’s possible both sides could have interest in a reunion a year later. The Blue Jays were a playoff team last year that hit decently overall behind young stars like Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Bo Bichette and Daulton Varsho. However, the team is likely to lose one of its top hitters, Matt Chapman, in free agency, as well as some other important bats like Whit Merrifield and Kevin Kiermaier. Perhaps Toronto could look towards Hernandez to fill that void, and with some of the strong seasons he had with the Blue Jays, it seems likely the outfielder would welcome a return.
