Ty Thompson transferring; 5 landing spots for signal caller
EUGENE, Ore. (BVM) – With the announced transfer of Dillon Gabriel to Oregon, Ducks sophomore Ty Thompson decided to enter the transfer portal.

Thompson was a five-star recruit by Rivals in the Class of 2021, but never got a chance in Eugene. After backing up Anthony Brown as a true freshman, Thompson served as the backup to Bo Nix following his transfer to Oregon from Auburn. With Nix exhausting his eligibility, Thompson was set to be his heir apparent, but that would not be the case with the Ducks bringing in Gabriel.
Now, Thompson will look to find a new home where he will look to prove he was worthy of his five-star rating. Here are five landing spots for the quarterback.
