Ashford made many plays during his two seasons with the Tigers, recording 1,758 passing yards, nine passing touchdowns and nine interceptions to go with 927 rushing yards and 12 rushing touchdowns over 22 appearances and 10 starts. A former three-star quarterback from Hoover, Alabama, Ashford is an elite athlete, playing baseball during his first collegiate year in 2021 for the Oregon Ducks.
While Ashford’s talents are undeniable, he has yet to find a true home as a signal caller. Given his rare combination of passing and rushing ability, however, Ashford should attract plenty of attention in the transfer portal. Here are five potential landing spots for the quarterback.
