This would be a bit of a surprise, considering how well Finley played this past season. However, FCS Grambling has a few things that could lure the quarterback to the school. The first is that it is located in Finley’s home state of Louisiana, which would allow the signal caller to return to his roots. The second is the Tigers’ new head coach Mickey Joseph was on the LSU staff when Finley committed to the program, serving as the quarterback’s secondary recruiter as well.

For Finley, this move would also allow him to continue to build his success as a college quarterback rather than potentially taking a step back at another, bigger program. However, given how much success he had in the fall, expect Finley to try and land with a stronger team.
