Ranking the 10 best NFL free agents for the 2024 offseason

8. Christian Wilkins, DT, Miami Dolphins

Wilkins has established himself as one of the best interior defensive linemen in football. The Dolphins game wrecker finished 2023 with 69 tackles and nine sacks. Wilkins should receive a contract this offseason that puts him in the upper echelon of players at his position. He is still 28 years old, and has plenty of good football left in him.

Jim Schwartz has turned the Cleveland Browns defense into one of the most feared in football. The team could view Wilkins’ free agency as an opportunity to get even stronger on that side of the ball. Defensive tackle Shelby Harris will also be a free agent and Wilkins would be as good of a replacement as you can get. It would cost a lot of money to get this done, but lining Wilkins up next to Myles Garrett could be worth it.
