10 unheralded players who could impact March Madness

Andersson Garcia, F, Texas A&M

Garcia certainly won’t wow with scoring as he is averaging just 6.1 points for the season. However, his contributions show up mostly on the glass where he ranks No. 43 in the country in rebounding. The rebounds he gets are critical too as Garcia ranks second in the nation in offensive rebounds per game, averaging 4.42.

This helps his Aggies retain more possessions and is part of why they are one of the top rebounding teams in the country (third in total rebounds per game and first in offensive rebounds per game). Though Garcia won’t light up the scoreboard with points, don’t expect many people to beat him in the rebounding department, especially when giving his team second chance opportunities.
