Justin Fields on the move?: 5 landing spots if QB is traded
Denver Broncos
The Broncos are in a bit of no man’s land when it comes to the quarterback position. Last year’s starter Russell Wilson seems to be headed to free agency and his backup Jarrett Stidham didn’t do particularly well in his two starts for the team later in the year. With the No. 12 overall pick in the draft, Denver also seems to be too far off to make a move for one of the top quarterback prospects. This would make acquiring Fields beneficial.
From Fields’ perspective, this could be a good landing spot. Head coach Sean Payton is known for his offensive scheme and ability to coach quarterbacks and the Broncos also have a lot of young talent on offense including wideouts Cortland Sutton and Jerry Jeudy and running back Javonte Williams. However, Denver lacks a lot of draft picks due to the Wilson trade they made a couple of years ago which may make the Bears unwilling to make a deal. Also, the fact that the Wilson trade backfired on the organization may make the Broncos hesitant to try and go that route again.
