Justin Fields on the move?: 5 landing spots if QB is traded

The Patriots are in a unique position to upgrade their quarterback. With the No. 3 overall pick in this year’s draft, New England could sit and select the best signal caller available at the spot or could move up to get their top guy if motivated enough. However, the Patriots could decide to make a move for a veteran like Fields and use their first pick to instead improve other positions on their roster.

If New England made a move for Fields, it would likely be an attractive one for Chicago. With one of the top picks in each of the seven rounds, the Patriots have good compensation to potentially lure Fields away from the Windy City. For Fields, New England has the second-most cap space in the league which it could use to surround him with talent and if it can keep its top selection and some other high-end picks, the roster could improve rapidly. But, as it stands today, the Patriots roster is quite weak and would need to add a lot of talent for Fields to be satisfied with the destination.
