Garrison was a top-50 recruit in the Class of 2023 and a McDonald’s All-American at Del City High School in Oklahoma City. He committed to Oklahoma State in 2022, becoming the third McDonald’s All-American Boynton landed during his time in Stillwater.
This season, Garrison started 29 games for the Cowboys, averaging 7.5 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.5 blocks while shooting 57.2% from the field. The 6-foot-11, 245-pound center isn’t necessarily known as a high-volume scorer, but he did prove his potential on that end of the floor throughout the Big 12 season with three 20-point games.
With multiple years of eligibility remaining and proven upside as a high-level Division I big man, Garrison should be highly sought after during his time in the transfer portal. Here are five programs the 6-foot-11 freshman could be playing for next season.
