Brandon Garrison transferring: 5 possible landing spots
Ole Miss Rebels
Chris Beard had interest in Garrison out of high school and tried to get him to Texas, a finalist during the 6-foot-11 center’s recruiting process. With Beard now at Ole Miss, Garrison could take a look at joining the Rebels, and his ability on both ends of the floor would seem to fit Beard’s system well. Ole Miss’ interest in Garrison could ultimately depend on what happens to the Rebels’ frontcourt this offseason following a solid 20-12 campaign where the team won its first 13 games. However, Ole Miss ultimately struggled in the SEC, and one of its biggest challenges was its play down low. If 7-footers Moussa Cisse and Jamarion Sharp return, there may not be as great of a need to add Garrison. Still, he would likely provide a younger upgrade on both as a building block for Beard’s on-the-rise program.
