Brandon Garrison transferring: 5 possible landing spots
Texas Tech Red Raiders
Texas Tech was one of several Big 12 schools that extended an offer to Garrison coming out of high school. It was a different regime at the time, but Garrison could still have interest in playing in Lubbock, particularly with the situation he could walk into next season. Head coach Grant McCasland has done a tremendous job in his first year with the Red Raiders, leading them to a fourth-place finish in the Big 12 and an NCAA Tournament berth. However, he will likely lose some important pieces after the season, including 7-foot senior forward Warren Washington. Texas Tech will need to add size and physicality in the offseason to replace Washington, and Garrison could be a perfect fit out of the portal to help continue McCasland’s early success.
