Ranking the tallest to shortest teams in March Madness 2024

(BVM) – Here is a ranking of all 68 teams in the 2024 NCAA men’s basketball tournament — arranged from the tallest to the shortest team.

The tallest team by average height is the Washington State Cougars, while the Houston Cougars fall as one of the shortest teams in March Madness.

Notably, the tallest person in the March Madness tournament is 7-foot-4 Purdue center Zach Edey. 

Here are the tallest to shortest teams by average height according to KenPom’s metrics, which were “computed by taking the average listed height of every player on the team, weighted by minutes played. Players that have played less than 10% of their team’s minutes are not included.”
