Eric Dailey Jr. transferring: 5 possible landing spots

STILLWATER, Okla. (BVM) – Oklahoma State freshman Eric Dailey Jr. has entered the college basketball transfer portal just a couple of weeks after another Cowboys big man, Brandon Garrison, did the same.

Dailey Jr. was a four-star recruit coming out of IMG Academy in Florida, committing to Mike Boynton and Oklahoma State over many notable high-major programs. The 6-foot-8, 230-pound freshman’s talent translated well to the collegiate level as he started 16 games this season for the Cowboys, averaging 9.3 points, 4.8 rebounds and 1.5 assists while shooting nearly 50% from the field.

There is certainly room for growth on both ends of the floor for Dailey Jr., but his untapped upside and demonstrated ability during year one of his college basketball career make him an intriguing prospect during the portal season.

Here are five potential landing spots for Dailey Jr. in the transfer portal.
