Top 10 Illinois RBs for 2024 high school football season
BLOOMINGTON, Ill. (BVM) – The 2024 high school football season in Illinois features an abundance of offensive talent with one of the deepest positional groups in the state coming at running back.
Through the years, Illinois has produced some terrific running back talent at the high school level dating back to Red Grange and Paddy Driscoll several decades ago. Some other notable NFL rushers have also emerged from the Prairie State more recently like Michael Turner, Pierre Thomas, Rashard Mendenhall and James Robinson.
In 2024, there will be several tailbacks aiming to follow in the footsteps of some of those past stars as Illinois will showcase several Division I recruits and high-level rushers at the running back position.
