The Tar Heels will be one of the most talked about teams in the country because of new head coach Bill Belichick, who needs to find a QB in the spring. Max Johnson is on his third school and has had an underwhelming college career. He is also coming off a major leg injury. UNC does have an interesting freshman in Bryce Baker, but it is hard to imagine him competing for starting reps this season. Lopez could be its top option for 2025 and beyond.
