Cowboys advance to championship match

ATLANTA — Oklahoma State's men's golf defeated UCLA 3-2 in the semifinal round and will face Auburn in the championship of the East Lake Cup. No. 2-seeded OSU defeated No. 3-seeded UCLA 3-2, getting points from Gaven Lane , Filip Fahlberg-Johnsson and Preston Stout . Lane was the opening match for the Cowboys, winning 8-and-7 against Tyler Loree. Fahlberg-Johnsson finished his match against Lucas Rizo-Patron with a 5-and-3 victory, and Stout also won with a 5-and-3 finish against Alex Papayoanou.
